Association InDance International is committed to making the Equal Arts website accessible to everyone, including people who use assistive technology. Equal Arts exists to widen access to leadership and to the stage in the performing arts, and we hold our own materials to the same standard.
This statement applies to the website at equalarts.eu, including the Equal Arts course pages, playbooks and digital portfolio published there.
How accessible this website is
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1 at level AA, the standard referenced by the European standard EN 301 549. This website is partially conformant with that standard: it meets many of the requirements, and we are aware of the areas below where it does not yet.
Known issues
- Some icons and menu links do not yet have a destination or an accessible name, so a screen reader may announce them without describing them.
- Some images may not yet carry descriptive alternative text.
- Our PDF playbooks and curricula may not be fully tagged for screen readers. We can supply the content of any playbook in an accessible format on request.
- Parts of the site rely on third-party services to include YouTube video, LinkedIn embeds, Google Forms registration and Canva documents, whose accessibility we do not control. Where a form or document presents a barrier, please contact us and we will take your details or supply the content another way.
What to do if you cannot access part of this website
If you need information from this website in a different format, or you meet a barrier that stops you using it, please contact us:
- Email: equalarts@indanceinternational.com
- We aim to reply within 10 working days.
Tell us the page address and what happened, and we will put it right or send you the content in a format you can use, for example a plain-text document, a larger-print version, or a transcript.
