After two years of work on gender equality in leadership and management roles across the Performing Arts, Dance, Media and Theatre, Equal Arts reaches its finish date (30 September 2026). This final issue looks back at what the Erasmus+ KA210-VET partnership built including the Equal Arts Unlocked webinar series, the Women in Leadership Playbooks and Curriculum, the free Certificate in Performing Arts Leadership micro-course, and the 52-practice Equal Arts Digital Portfolio and shows where readers can keep using these resources now that the project has formally ended. It also looks ahead to how InDance International will carry the mission for women’s equality in the performing arts forward across Europe, England, and Africa.

Proud to have contributed to Equal Arts as a VET expert through the “Equal Arts Unlocked” webinars. For me, supporting inclusive leadership means helping people recognise their skills, connect with others and find the confidence to take action.
Thank you to the InDance International team and all partners for this collaboration. The final newsletter marks a milestone, while the resources remain an invitation to keep learning and advancing gender equality in the arts.
Thank you for this Gabriella, and for everything you brought to Equal Arts Unlocked. Your framing of inclusive leadership, recognising your skills, connecting with others, finding the confidence to act is the thread that ran through the whole series 🙂
For readers arriving here, the final newsletter marks the end of the project, not the end of the resources:) The micro-learning curriculum (EN/ES/IT) and the Digital Portfolio of 52 good practices from Ireland, Italy and Spain remain free and open under CC BY 4.0 at equalarts.eu, for anyone to use, adapt or build a training session around.
With thanks to all our partners.
